The Muslim Youthwork Foundation provides links to policies and policy updates in this section of the Website. It will also keep you updated with new funding rounds and also opportunities arising within the Foundation.
These policy documents provide examples of policies relating to the provision of youth services for young people. The collection represents what The National Youth Agency currently hold for each local authority, supplied by the authorities or downloaded from their websites.

LEADERSHIP
The DCSF is currently tendering for an organisation to deliver the National Body for Youth Leadership. Aiming High set out the intention to create a new national body to increase leadership opportunities for young people. The Competitive Contract Notice is now available. For more information contact Joanne Wheeler. The deadline for expressions of interest is 10 October 2008.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Action for Children (formally NCH) has launched a study of 21 years of policy affecting children and young people. The charity found that successive governments had made more than 400 major announcements relating to children and young people over the past 21 years, leading to 98 Acts of Parliament. The report calls for a cross-party political group to establish a 21-year vision for children.
