All young people will have go through adolescence. How one deals with this varies differently in communities. The UK has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Western Europe and the Muslim community has one of the largest youth groups. It comes to no surprise, when speaking about issues surrounding sex, sexuality and sexual health can still be a taboo but the reality on the ground is somewhat very different.

Muslim youth are engaged in different forms of sexuality, experimenting with relationships and sexual activity. For those who are working or engaging with Muslim youth, what support or advice can we give ?

This interactive roundtable discussion will look at: - Issues of sexuality and dealing with those of different sexual orientation - Relationships - informal (girl/boyfriends) and formal such as marriage (forced /arranged) - Sexual activity among Muslim youth i.e. Advising, warning, informing about STIs, and making informed choices or else. All welcome, free entrance with BBQ lunch provided Spaces limited hence pre-registration required.
